HOLI

Holi is a very famous Indian festival. Along with having some religious histories, it is celebrated to welcome spring. It is celebrated with colours to represent colours of the spring. People go to streets or some big playgrounds and paint each other with powder colours (Gulal). Some people make pools filled with colourful water and push each other into it for fun. There is party and celebration everywhere in the country. We celebrated Holi in the school by dancing and coloring each other. We prepared dance on Indian songs representing Holi. All the students and staff members had fun.

Holi é un festival indio moi famoso. Ademais de ter unha historia relixiosa, celébrase para dar a benvida a primavera. Celébrase con cores  para representar as cores que hain a primavera. A xente sae a rúa ao a grandes parques e píntase con pós de cores (Gulal). Algunha xente fixo piscinas de cores e métense dentro para divertirse. Hai festas e celebración por todo o país. Nós celebramos o Holi na escola bailando e pintándonos un saos otros. Preparamos un baile con canción indicas que representan o Holi. Todo o alumnado e resto de persoal se divertiu.
